Weekly Outline: Apr. 23th – Apr. 27th

10 weeks left of school. Or put another way, 2.5 months until summer. Keep up the good work that you have been doing and remember to highlight your successes and not put yourself down for failures. Failure is learning in progress.

I had a great time at games week last week. It was a lot of fun to learn math in a new and innovative way. If you did some of the games week but not all of it talk to Ms. Cody. There might still be a way for you to get credit for that at some point.

We have an exciting week. On Tuesday we will be going top a Jazz concert at the PAC. It will be at 10:45am. After that, those who have worked on bridges and have built bridges will be going to Pineridge to participate in breaking their bridge. Finally, a few students, myself and Ms. Robinson will be going to Kiel on Friday.

Swimming and Civic Centre this week. Talk to Ms. Cody. I believe this will be Tuesday. If you are in  PE10 Attendance is mandatory.

Grad Photos on Thursday. Please sign up with  Jan. If you want to get your hair done or whatever else be sure to give yourself lots of time to do that and get to school.

Please remember to do you goal sheets if you have not done them on Monday. Carry your goal sheet with you and refer to it during the week. If you set reasonable goals and work towards them you will have no problem getting through your courses.

A reminder about cell phones. They are to be in your lockers or pouches. There is no need to get upset if a staff member asks you to put your cell phone away. Remember that this policy is to create a space where you can focus on your work.

I had forgot to list those who have received tokens for Cell Phone Usage or Behaviour/Technology Usage for that past couple weeks. So here is the last 3 weeks. Remember there are two $75 gift certificates up for grabs.
