Weekly Outline: Nov. 13th – Nov. 16th

Week 11 of 39. That means you have 28 more weeks of school left.

I would like to thank Ms. Cody for the amazing week of learning about the plants in and around the territory. It was great to connect with Traditional Ecological Knowledge and western knowledge about the plants around us.

Thank you to Ms. Stone for doing the awesome Remembrance Day assembly. I was very impressed with it and thought it was great to learn about war through Ms. Stone’s hands on projects.

There is a new bullying website for BC. ERASE Bullying can now be accessed at the following URL: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/erase
Everyone deserves a safe and respectful environment to pursue their dreams, goals and education. You can always report any bullying or problem behaviour to Mr. Janz, Ms. Bryant, Mr. Salomon or any other staff member you feel comfortable with. If you do not feel comfortable talking to any of us you can use this reporting website. We also have a link on our website on the right side labeled “ERASE Bullying”.

Final week until our grading period is over. Last day to hand in work is Nov. 16th of this week. At this point you should be about 25% done your courses to be on track for completion by the end of June. Now some of you might be farther in one course than another. The average completion between the two courses should amount to about 25%.
