I would like to thank Ms. Stone for her excellent unit last month. It was exciting to hear the kids talk about “Teenage Brain” throughout the week when things happened. The circle time was excellent and we will look at doing this more in the new year. Thanks again Ms. Stone.
This week we will be going to Terrace and Ferry Island. It is suppose to be a balmy 0 degrees out there. So dress appropriatly. The school WILL REMAIN OPEN this TREC. We will have a TREC sign-up sheet and there will be a cap of about 17 students. In addition to the hike we will hit up the mall and Dairy Queen. Great time to do some Christmas shopping ;).
Work Experience Grads will need to be here Thursday. Ms. Enns will be helping you with your paper work and organizing where you want to go. You will also need to submit a resume. We don’t know if she will be here in the morning or afternoon yet.
Great work everyone on the fundraising and selling chocolates. It is going amazingly well this year and I’m very happy about the level of student participation. It is great to see such motivated students. We have another shipment of chocolates.
Kennedi, Tawni and Sam are organizing a Christmas Carnival for our final Friday before Christmas Break. This carnival will be open to the whole community and we hope to have lots of kids here. Please start telling your family and friends about it. There will be games and movies. If you are interested in helping out talk to Mr. Janz or one of the organizers.
