Weekly Outline: Dec. 17th – Dec. 21st

Week 16 of 39. That means you have 23 more weeks of school left. Close to half way through the school year.

Last week before Christmas — w00t!

The TREC to Terrace and Ferry Island was great. It was a balmy 0 degrees out there and a light snow fall. We had an excellent time finding the faces on the trail around Ferry Island. I was surprised by how many of them there are and how detailed. Dairy Queen and Christmas shopping was also fun. Check out our Facebook page for pictures around ferry island.

Work Experience Grads will need to be here Ms. Enns will be back this week to pick up your applications. You will also need to submit a resume. She will be here either Tuesday or Thursday.

Great work everyone on the fundraising and selling chocolates. It is going amazingly well this year and I’m very happy about the level of student participation. It is great to see such motivated students. We have another shipment of chocolates.

We will be having our Christmas carnival this Friday in the afternoon. Please tell all your family and friends. Also we will be having a bake sale both Thursday and Friday as well. Baking off on Wednesday.

The new Nintendo Switch. This can be used for Just Dance or other physical games during PE Time. On the days without PE you can get a “Switch Pass” to be able to use the Switch from 2:30 to 3:10. A Switch Pass must be signed off on by two of the teachers. It will be based on work completed, behaviour and attendance for the day. On a Switch Pass you can play what you want. I have even downloaded Fortnite.

Please respect the Switch and do not create accounts with inapropriate names or do anything which disrespects the school and our community. The console and its items will be signed out by me. Remember that if you use your own personal account that anyone would be able to use it.
