Weekly Outline: Jan. 7th – Jan. 11th

Week 17 of 39. That means you have 24 more weeks of school left. Close to half way through the school year.

Welcome to 2019 everyone! This is going to be the best year of your life. All you have to do is live it. I hope you all have had a great holiday and are ready to get some hard work done between now and Spring Break.

Our TREC this month will be skiing/snowboarding and it will be happening on Jan. 25th. There are a limited number of spaces available and we will only be taking 17 students. Attendance for this TREC will be based on the three A’s: attendance, attitude and academics. We will be choosing which students will be going on the week of the 21st.

This is a great week to get work done. There are no special events or activities.

The new Nintendo Switch. This can be used for Just Dance or other physical games during PE Time. On the days without PE you can get a “Switch Pass” to be able to use the Switch from 2:30 to 3:10. A Switch Pass must be signed off on by two of the teachers. It will be based on work completed, behaviour and attendance for the day. On a Switch Pass you can play what you want. I have even downloaded Fortnite.

Please respect the Switch and do not create accounts with inapropriate names or do anything which disrespects the school and our community. The console and its items will be signed out by me. Remember that if you use your own personal account that anyone would be able to use it.
