Week 20 of 39. That means you have 19 more weeks of school left. We have past the half way mark of school. We are heading onward to the end of the year.
Last Day to hand in assignments will be Friday, Feb. 1st. If you are going on the TREC it will be Thursday.
As we move into the next half of the year I want to give a warm welcome to Mr. P. He begins his official full time position here at PCS and will be taking over for Ms. Cody. I am excited to see what he will do with this position. He is a passionate educator with an innovative mind. I look forward to working with him.
We had a great ski trip last Friday. There will be another ski trip this Friday and there will be one more next Friday. Attendance for this TREC will be based on the three A’s: attendance, attitude and academics. Attendees need be at the school by 7:10. We will be leaving by 7:20. We will leave the Shames Mountain at 3:00pm and should be home by 5:00pm.
All attendees (or potential attendees) will need to be here Tuesday and Wednesday to get their wait and height done. We will have a meeting Wednesday. If you are not here and do not get your height and wait done then you will give up your seat to ski.
The students who were on the last ski trip will get priority this Friday, however, attendance, attitude and academics will still be a factor. There will be a signup sheet going around again.
NO LUNCHEON for this month due to the water situation. The water situation seems to be getting better so February should be good. Regardless we will work something out for February.
Bake Sale next Thursday at Northern Savings Credit Union. We are very thankful to Northern Savings for their generous support.
The new Nintendo Switch. This can be used for Just Dance or other physical games during PE Time. On the days without PE you can get a “Switch Pass” to be able to use the Switch from 2:30 to 3:10. A Switch Pass must be signed off on by two of the teachers. It will be based on work completed, behaviour and attendance for the day. On a Switch Pass you can play what you want. I have even downloaded Fortnite.
