Week 22 of 39. That means you have 17 more weeks of school left. We have past the half way mark of school. We are heading onward to the end of the year.
Children Festival Volunteers: Special Events Prince Rupert is looking for some volunteers for the Children’s Festival on March 1st.
Community Learning Week: This week Mr. Janz will be leading our Community Learning Week. We will be exploring and embracing our failures through play and exploration.
Amanda Stern: On Wednesday we have a very special guest all the way from New York. She will be speaking on anxiety among other topics.
Report Cards: Will be sent out this week. We are just fixing up a few final errors. You should have them by the end of the week.
Switch Pass: The new Nintendo Switch. This can be used for Just Dance or other physical games during PE Time. On the days without PE you can get a “Switch Pass” to be able to use the Switch from 2:30 to 3:10. A Switch Pass must be signed off on by two of the teachers. It will be based on work completed, behaviour and attendance for the day. On a Switch Pass you can play what you want. I have even downloaded Fortnite.
New Logo:
We are going to be designing a new logo for our school. We will be working with Kelly Clifton. Once the new logo is finished we will be ordering some sweaters and T-Shirts. Last week we did a brainstorm about what we would like to see. Students came up with a bunch of school colours. You can vote on the school colours.
