Week 24 of 39. That means you have 15 more weeks of school left. We have past the half way mark of school. We are heading onward to the end of the year.
* Pink Shirt Day * –> this Thursday we celebrate difference within community by calling out and stopping bullying behaviour.
POSSIBLE: Eulachon Fishing: This Friday there might be an opportunity to do some Eulachon Fishing.
Children Festival Volunteers: Special Events Prince Rupert is looking for some volunteers for the Children’s Festival on March 1st.
Community Luncheon: We will be having a community Luncheon this week on Thursday. Parents, grandparents and siblings are all invited. There will be soup and bread for our luncheon. If you are in Foods this is an excellent way to get credit for this course.
Switch Pass: The new Nintendo Switch. This can be used for Just Dance or other physical games during PE Time. On the days without PE you can get a “Switch Pass” to be able to use the Switch from 2:30 to 3:10. A Switch Pass must be signed off on by two of the teachers. It will be based on work completed, behaviour and attendance for the day. On a Switch Pass you can play what you want. I have even downloaded Fortnite.
New Logo:
We are going to be designing a new logo for our school. We will be working with Kelly Clifton. Once the new logo is finished we will be ordering some sweaters and T-Shirts. Last week we did a brainstorm about what we would like to see. Students came up with a bunch of school colours. You can vote on the school colours.
