Week 26 of 39. That means you have 13 more weeks of school left. We running up to about 3/4s through the school year. Time is getting short so its imperative you use your time here wisely and start planning and goal setting for the rest of the year.
Welcome to Spring Break: Spring Break is here folks. Just one week to go. Spring Break is from March 18th to March 29th. First day back is April 1st. No this is not an April fools joke. School does start on April 1st.
Changes – Ms. Stone and Community Learning Week: Some great community learning this week. Ms. Burger will be in Monday and we will be going to the museum on Tuesday.
TREC: It was great to hear about all the awesome snowshoeing last week up to Diana Lake. Apparently everyone got to the lake and it was frozen so they go to go out on the ice. Not sure what April TREC is yet.
Switch Pass: The new Nintendo Switch. This can be used for Just Dance or other physical games during PE Time. On the days without PE you can get a “Switch Pass” to be able to use the Switch from 2:30 to 3:10. A Switch Pass must be signed off on by two of the teachers. It will be based on work completed, behaviour and attendance for the day. On a Switch Pass you can play what you want. I have even downloaded Fortnite.
Circle Time:
It’ll be Big Circle today.
New Logo:
We are going to be designing a new logo for our school. We will be working with Kelly Clifton. Once the new logo is finished we will be ordering some sweaters and T-Shirts. Last week we did a brainstorm about what we would like to see. Students came up with a bunch of school colours. You can vote on the school colours.
